Message Overview:
This powerful Sunday service is packed with celebration, sobering biblical truth, and practical equipping. The morning features a beautiful testimony on giving, a serious look at church membership, a graduation ceremony for the School of Disciples, and a foundational teaching on the church value of Prayer.
Key Sections in this Service:
Giving is a Heart Issue (Angel Guerra): Angel opens the service by sharing that giving is fundamentally an issue of trust. Looking at the widow's two mites (Mark 12), she challenges the church to trust God completely with their finances. She also shares a miraculous personal testimony of how God supernaturally provided a new home and furniture for her family after a season of living in an RV.
The Weight of Membership (Robert Springfield): Continuing the series on church membership, Robert Springfield helps the church "count the cost." Using the sobering biblical examples of Achan’s sin (Joshua 7) and David’s census (1 Chronicles 21), he illustrates how one person’s sin can bring judgment on the whole camp. Membership is a serious covenant where we agree to stand together and be accountable for the spiritual health of the family.
School of Disciples Graduation (2025-2026): Pastor Austin honors the leaders and the seven young adults who dedicated the last nine months to the intensive School of Disciples program. These students lived together, worked jobs, and committed to weekly prayer, fasting, and evangelism. The fruit of their radical obedience speaks for itself: over the last nine months, the school saw 424 salvations, 72 healings, 129 deliverances, and 57 baptisms in the Holy Spirit!
Church Value: Prayer (Pastor Austin Rumpel): Pastor Austin breaks down the absolute necessity of prayer. He covers why we pray (fellowship and answers), how we have access (through Jesus our mediator and our identity as righteous sons/daughters), and three types of prayer (tongues, travail, and understanding). He concludes by outlining four essentials for a powerful prayer life: honesty, identity, being Spirit-led, and being on the offensive to advance the Kingdom.
