PASTOR

Pastor Austin felt the call to ministry at 15 years old and has been pursuing revival and contending to see the nations discipled ever since. After helping with a church plant in Katy, TX, Austin and his wife had the opportunity to answer God’s call to plant Abode Church in the summer of 2021. What began as a group of house churches with public seasonal revival services—where hundreds were healed and delivered—has grown into a local church pursuing revival in Houston, the nations, and in the hearts of individuals and families.

Austin was born for revival—seeing souls saved, healed, and delivered of demons. He finds deep fulfillment in reading the Bible and studying revivals and the move of the Spirit. He longs for individuals and families to experience a real touch of God—one that leads to deep conviction and repentance—so that the transforming power of God’s Word and Spirit can have its way.

Austin enjoys spending time with close family and friends, going on runs, traveling, and backpacking. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The King’s University, founded and led by Jack Hayford. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Anna, for nine years, and they have a precious daughter, Bethany.

EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

I love the Lord, and I am blessed with two children and our dog, Bella. As a family, we enjoy the outdoors and a fun game of bowling.

Before joining Abode, I spent 19 years working in education. As I pursued the Kingdom of God, He set me free and healed me. My love for His Kingdom grew, and I realized I wanted to be in ministry. I didn’t know when or where, but I trusted His timing. I began volunteering on the serve team wherever I could, and God started opening doors, allowing me to take on more responsibilities. I loved every minute of it.

Just two months after sensing God's grace to step away from my previous job and fully surrendering it to Him, I was offered the position at Abode. I never could have imagined being where I am today, but I thank God for every opportunity He has given me. Let it all be for His glory!

FINANCE OFFICER

I am incredibly blessed to serve the spiritual family I found at Abode Church. Though I grew up going to church and had encounters with God in high school, it wasn't until I experienced family here that I truly began my walk with Him. I had come to a fork in the road, realizing I was living a double life—one that looked like church on Sunday and the world on every other day. Joining this community over 9 years ago marked the beginning of my authentic walk into the fear of the Lord.

Witnessing firsthand how the Holy Spirit has transformed our simple, weekly Bible study with friends into the thriving church body we have today is what ignites my passion to serve. The Lord desires to build His house with us. My heart is to serve this body in any way I can, from the worship team to administrative support. My role as Finance Officer is rooted in a deep conviction for the fear of the Lord and a desire to steward what God is doing in Abode's vision for global revival—a role I see as far more than just finances.

Outside of church, I work as a software engineer. I enjoy traveling and exploring God's creation through hiking and camping, especially when shared in fellowship with others.
